Ritchie is an experienced coach and facilitator with a proven track record working alongside organisations to realise their potential through people. In particular, he works with companies and individuals to uncover what drives them and how they can get the best out of one another.
In addition to undertaking coaching assignments, Ritchie is also responsible for the assessment and ongoing development of Madston Black’s team of Executive Coaches. His background, experience and qualifications give the grounding to ensure that Executive Coaches engaged by Madston Black work to the highest standards of quality and ethics.
Prior to joining Madston Black, Ritchie enjoyed a highly successful career in executive recruitment within the UK and Australia before moving across to the Talent Management Practice of Hudson, firstly as a coach, then as the Operations Manager for the NSW business. In this role he ensured the team was able to deliver on its coaching, assessment and transition assignments to the highest levels of quality and client satisfaction.
Ritchie has been instrumental in helping leaders up to C-level reach their goals from a wide range of organisations including AAPT, ABC, American Express, AMP, ANZ Bank, Australia Council for the Arts, Bluescope, BNP Paribas, British Paints, Commonwealth Bank, Fosters, GE, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Masterfoods, Melbourne IT, NSW Lotteries, Roche, SBS, Selleys Yates (Dulux), Staging Connections, Sydney Water, Telstra, Tabcorp, Tourism NSW. His consultative approach adds value to overall management effectiveness as well as being a sounding board, working through some of the tougher issues.
An accomplished facilitator and trainer, Ritchie has also designed and delivered workshops for senior leadership teams such as leading through change, coaching for performance, addressing conflict and more. His practical experience is underpinned by a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth, and a Masters of Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) from the University of Sydney. He is also accredited and experienced in the use of various assessment tools such as the Hogan, LSI/GSI, MSCEIT, GENOS (GEMA), GPI, MBTI (I & II) and has used, and trained others to use, 360 tools.
